State narcotics task force makes two arrests

CARSON CITY, Nev. (KOLO) - Nevada's Tri-NET Narcotic Task Force has arrested two men after a two-month investigation.

45-year-old Michael Bowman was arrested for Trafficking a Controlled Substance (Meth), Conspiracy to Violate the Uniformed Controlled Substance Act, Sales of a Controlled Substance (Meth) and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth), all felonies.

29-year-old Mario Jesus Quevedo, while already in the Carson City jail for an unrelated Child Abuse case for providing methamphetamine to an underage girl, was booked for Trafficking a Controlled Substance (Meth), Conspiracy to Violate the Uniformed Controlled Substance Act and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth), all felonies.

The Tri-NET Narcotic Task Force is operated by the Nevada Department of Public Safety, Investigation Division and is in partnership with the Carson City Sheriff’s Office, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and the Nevada National Guard, Counterdrug Task Force. Tri-NET is funded in part by a Justice Assistance Grant and the DPS Office of Criminal Justice Assistance.
