SPARKS, Nev. (KOLO) - A new exhibit featuring Basque history and culture is making a stop in Sparks. "Hidden in Plain Sight: The Basques" is a smaller version of a display that was first at Ellis Island in 2010. Featuring language, music and industry, the display is especially welcomed in northern Nevada, where Basque culture has influenced so much.
"Hidden In Plain Sight" will also feature several Saturday lectures hosted by speakers from UNR. The exhibit will be at Sparks Museum through mid-May. The museum is open 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM Tuesday through Friday and 1:00 PM through 4:00 PM Saturday.
