MINDEN, Nev. (KOLO)-- The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office arrested a South Lake Tahoe man Tuesday in Minden on charges he had a financial forgery laboratory and had committed forgery, among other charges.
Ray Brashears, 33, also had an outstanding warrant out of a Lake Tahoe justice court for theft.
A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office patrol dog indicated from outside Brashears’ vehicle there were drugs inside the vehicle and deputies found .4 grams of methamphetamine and hypodermic needles, the sheriff’s office said. Also in the vehicle, they found a Medicaid car, military identification, Social Security card and a Nevada driver’s license not belonging to Brashears, the sheriff’s office said.
