Plumas Forest Service employees honored for life-saving efforts

QUINCY, Calif. (KOLO)-- The U.S. Forest Service recognized six Plumas National Forest Service employees for giving life-saving medical aid to a fellow employee in December.

Regional Forester Randy Moore gave each employee a certificate with this inscribed: β€œβ€œIn recognition of your ability to remain calm and effective while rendering life-saving medical care to a fellow Forest Service employee. Your actions, in this unexpected and traumatic situation, reflect a notable level of training, experience, and professionalism.”

The recognized employees: Aaron Knudson, Ryan Vondriska, Damian Rivadeneyra, Chris Voelker, Dustin Kaurich and Kyle Mitchell.
