RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - U.S. Sen. Al Franken spoke in Reno Saturday on behalf of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.

Franken appeared at the Pacifica Festival at the Sands, then was scheduled to speak at a northwest Reno voter registration launch, then a Carson City campaign effort and then back in Reno to talk at a Democrat phone bank effort.

Franken, a former writer and performer on Saturday Night Live, was scheduled to contrast Clinton’s tax plan with Donald Trump’s tax plan, which Democrats say favors the rich.
