RENO, Nev. (KOLO) -- Reno's Recreation and Parks Commission voted unanimously Tuesday night to accept an ordinance to ban smoking within any park and recreation facility in Reno, unless a sign is posted to allow citizens to light up.

Nine people sit on the Commission, but only seven were present during the vote. All voted in favor of the ban.

The issue will now go before Reno's City Council.
