Registration ends today for Math Club dodgeball tourney

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - A co-ed adult dodgeball tournament is being held Saturday, February 3 at 1PM, at the Reno Sportsdome to benefit the Northern Nevada Math Club.

Organizer Chris Griffin says, “We need to do something to improve kids' math skills and NNVMath is doing great things in this area. Having a dodgeball tournament is a fun way to get more of the community involved in raising money to help more kids love math.”

Teams consists of 6 players each. All players must be 18 or older and each team must have two females playing in each game. More information and registration is online at RenoDodgeball.com.

Registration ends January 28.

The Reno Sportsdome is at 2400 Tampa St., Reno.

NNVMath is a 501(c)3 that has been running area math contests and math camps for students in grades 12 and below for 3 years.
