RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Reno Police are still investigating a shooting in north Reno Sunday night.

Police say it happened just before 8:30 p.m. June 18, 2017. Four people were involved in the incident at the Vista Point Apartment Homes at 250 Talus Way.

When police arrived, they found three men with gunshot wounds. One, 26-year-old Ryan Jones of Reno, was pronounced dead on scene. His name was confirmed by the Washoe County Medical Examiner's office. The other two were taken to Renown Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police believe there was an altercation that preceded the shooting.

Police tell KOLO 8 News Now they believe this is an isolated incident that is not connected to any recent shootings. They say all parties involved are cooperating with the investigation.

Jones played football at Hug High school and Montana Tech. He was signed by the Baltimore Ravens, but also spent time with the NY Giants.
