INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. (KOLO)-- Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue and the sheriff’s RAVEN helicopter rescued an injured skier Sunday afternoon who was about 2,000 above Incline Lake.

Rescuers used a helicopter because of the location’s remoteness.

The skier was hoisted by RAVEN and taken to the nearby Mount Rose Highway, where the North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District took the skier to a hospital.
