Five arrested in Wingfield Springs drug investigation

SPARKS, Nev. (KOLO) - Sparks Police say they have arrested five people at a Wingfield Springs home as part of a drug investigation.

Late the morning of May 15, 2018, detectives used a search warrant at the home in the 6900 block of Centaurus. A SWAT team helped detectives surround the house and call out the suspects.

Inside, detectives found a marijuana grow and evidence of a Hash Oil operation. Charges against the suspects include Possession of a Controlled Substance (PCS), PCS for Sales, Produce/Process Concentrated Cannabis Product, and Child Endangerment (because of 4-year-old lived in the home).

Three weapons were also found, one a handgun that police say was within reach of the 4-year-old.

23-year-old Eduardo Barrera
22-year-old Sylvia Chimal
26-year-old Giovanni Tortoledo
