No serious injuries when NHP trooper hits another vehicle

MINDEN, Nev. (KOLO)-- There were no serious injuries Saturday morning when a Nevada Highway Patrol trooper collided with another vehicle in Minden.

The preliminary investigation shows a driver at a stop sign on North Fork Trail pulled in front of an NHP trooper, in an NHP cruiser, driving on Stephanie Way about 10:55 a.m. December 30, 2017, and the NHP trooper hit the other vehicle, the NHP said.

Both drivers were taken to medical facilities to be checked out, the NHP said. Air bags deployed in both vehicles and they had to be towed from the site.

The streets were reopened by 11:45 a.m.
