BOISE, Idaho (KOLO)-- The Nevada Air National Guard is doing its annual aerial firefighter training this week in Boise, Idaho.

The 152nd Airlift Wing, nicknamed the High Rollers, will have classroom sessions and also have flights for crews, lead pilots and support personnel from fire fighter agencies.

They will demonstrate their firefighting capability by dropping retardant on Saturday morning. The aircraft are equipped to drop up to 3,000 gallons of retardant in less than five seconds.

The High Rollers are one of four National Guard bureaus fighting fires.
The Nevada Air Guard fought fires last year working alongside certified units.
