YUMA, Ariz. (AP) - Border Patrol officials say agents at the Arizona-California border have arrested two Mexican men and seized more than 20 pounds of heroin.

They say agents conducting checks at the Greyhound Bus Station in Blythe, California came across two Mexican men who were in violation of their immigration status Wednesday.

A subsequent search resulted in the discovery of 19 packages of heroin hidden within their luggage and concealed in caulking tubes.

Border officials say the heroin has an estimated value of more than $400,000.

They say agents arrested both men for immigration and narcotics violation and seized the drugs for processing in accordance with Yuma Sector guidelines.

The names and ages of the men weren't immediately released.
