RENO, Nev. (KOLO) Like every other Nevada sports book, Sunday will be the year’s busiest day at the book at the Atlantis, and it appears that a majority of those who will be there will be rooting for the Eagles – who, as of Friday morning, are 4.5-point underdogs.
"So far it’s been all Eagles money,” said race and sports book manager Marc Nelson. “About 80% of the money we have taken has been on the Philadelphia Eagles. The game opened 6, it all the way down to 4.5. Anytime the point spread goes down it's dog money coming in.”
In addition to the line on the game, the over/under total currently stands at 48 points.
Many bettors will also be making proposition wagers, of which there are hundreds of available at the Atlantis. Nelson says the most popular prop bets are those surrounding the biggest names on the field.
“The most popular ones revolve around the marquee players in the game. The top receivers, running back, quarterbacks, of course. We also have props on the kickers. You can bet longest field goal made for either kicker.”
Kickoff is Sunday at 3:30 P.M. Pacific time.
