CARSON CITY, Nev. (KOLO) Businesses in Carson City have decided to donate a portion of their daily profits to benefit the teens who were injured in a rollover November 9.

November 14, Firehouse Subs and Fox Brewpub in Carson City donated some of their profits to the GoFundMe account to benefit the victims.

"The kids that were injured in this accident, my heart aches for them and for their parents" Linda Lawler, a customer at Fox Brewpub, said.

Fox Brewpub donated 10 percent of its profits and Firehouse donated 20 percent.

Eddie Bowers is a father of two teenage boys and said something as simple as eating at the sandwich shop would make a difference.

"Anything we can do to help," Bowers said. "I'm glad they're doing this for the families."

Jim Phalan, owner of the Fox Brewpub, said he agreed immediately to help out with raising money. He said the community has really come together in this difficult time.

"When people say why do you live in Carson City, I say it's a community like you've never seen before," Phalan said.
