INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. (KOLO)-- Lake Tahoe’s first recreational marijuana dispensary opened Saturday with a line that a store spokeswoman said was more than 100 people long.

NuLeaf has been operating in the Lake Tahoe area for the past year as the only Nevada state-approved medical cannabis provider on the Nevada side and is the only retailer on the Nevada side.

Washoe County allowed recreational marijuana sales in the unincorporated areas on Friday.

NuLeaf also operates a marijuana business in Las Vegas.
