La Tech transfer commits to play at Nevada

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) Jalen Harris has committed to play basketball at Nevada.


The 6-foot-4 guard played his first two seasons at Louisiana Tech, averaging 12.1 points per game.

He was averaging 15.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 11 games this season, before deciding to leave the program. Harris was also shooting 44% from 3-point range.

He will have to sit out next season, then have two years of eligibility left at Nevada.
