------

Washoe County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking southern Nevada residents if they have information about a death investigation, because the victim had connections to the Las Vegas area.

The afternoon of Friday, September 29, 2017, deputies responded to the area of Lupin Drive and Honey Bear Drive on a report of a dead man inside a home. Deputies found the man dead of an apparent gunshot wound.

The Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed his identity as 34-year-old Michael Partridge of Sun Valley and confirmed he died as a result of having been shot.

Detectives say Partridge lived in Las Vegas before moving to northern Nevada and still has connections to the area. They believe someone may know something, no matter how insignificant it may seem, that could help the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division at (775) 328-3320 or Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900.
