FALLON, Nev. (KOLO) - The Nevada Highway Patrol says impairment is suspected in a crash involving four cars near Fallon.

It happened just after 4 p.m. Tuesday, September 12 on U.S. 50 near Trento Lane.

Trooper Dan Gordon says the driver who caused the crash sideswiped another car, triggering a chain-reaction crash. The driver and passenger of the car that triggered the crash were both taken by Care Flight to a hospital.

NHP says occupants of the other three cars were treated on scene for minor injuries and released

Gordon would not say whether it was drugs or alcohol suspected in the crash.
