Fire knocked down east of downtown Reno

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - The Reno Fire Department has knocked down the flames at a home in the 400 block of East Seventh Street, near Record Street.

Firefighters initially responded about 9:30 p.m. February 1, 2018 on a smoke check because there was much smoke in the area. Around 9:40 p.m. they found the fire in small, single-family home that had no one inside. There was much smoke inside the home.

Firefighters got the flames knocked down quickly and as of 10:30 p.m. remained on scene to make sure all the flames were out.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
