NHP IDs motorcyclist killed in Spooner Summit crash

CARSON CITY, Nev. (KOLO) - A 19-year-old resident of Pollock Pines, California has been identified as the motorcyclist killed in a weekend crash.

About noon Saturday, September 30, 2017, Nevada Highway Patrol troopers were called to eastbound US 50 about one mile east of Spooner Summit.

The preliminary investigation indicates Justin Breese was riding eastbound on 50 on a Kawasaki, when he lost control of the bike, throwing him off. He was pronounced dead on scene.

Troopers say speed may be a contributing factor in this crash

Trooper Doug Hildebrand of the Nevada Highway Patrol’s Multi-disciplinary Investigation and Reconstruction Team is investigating.
