RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Construction workers are installing one of the final top beams on the 22-room expansion at Damonte Ranch High School.
The project broke ground six months ago and is expected to be finished later this school year. There will be a six-classroom addition on the east side of the building and a 16-classroom addition on the west side. The goal of the expansion is to help ease overcrowding at the high school.
The beam being installed September 21, 2017 was signed by students and staff.
