RENO, Nev. (KOLO) Travel back in time to the land of dinosaurs thanks to an interactive exhibit at the Reno Sparks Convention Center.
"Dinosaur Trek in Time" will be in town December 16 and 17. It showcases real-life robotic dinosaurs with interactive games and puppeteers. Guests can observe and interact with the dinosaurs, build their own dinosaurs, dig up fossil bones and participate in trivia contests.
Dinosaur Time Trek will also have a new exhibit featuring Sharks. They are teaming up with ocearch , a non-profit organization that studies sharks. In the "Shark Bay" exhibit there will be replicas of how sharks looked like before the dinosaur period, during the dinosaur period, and modern day sharks. Guests will also have the opportunity to track real sharks in the ocean.
The event will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tickets for children and adults are $21. For seniors or groups of over 10 people, tickets will cost $16. You can purchase tickets at the Reno Sparks Convention Center or online.
