INDEPENDENCE, Calif., (KOLO)-- U.S. 395 is back open in both directions south of Independence in Inyo County after a culvert repair.

The California Department of Transportation closed northbound traffic due to possible flooding from a culvert. Caltrans set up a detour at that time.
