Warm Springs Fire fully contained

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - The Warm Springs Fire burning in the Moon Rocks area, west of Winnemucca Ranch Road, remained 921 acres Thursday and is 100 percent contained, the Sierra Front Interagency Dispatch Center said.

The fire was first reported around 12:50 p.m. Tuesday, October 10, 2017.

Aircraft support has been called in to help with fire suppression efforts.

According to Sierra Front, crews with the Bureau of Land Management and Truckee Meadows Fire are fighting the fire.

There is no estimated containment at this time.
