WASHINGTON, D.C. (KOLO) – The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced the recall of 110,817 pounds of Banquet Chicken Nuggets with Mac & Cheese frozen meals out of concern that the brownies included in the meal may have salmonella.

The government described the action as being done “out of an abundance of caution.”

The dinners have Code 3100080921 and a “BEST IF USED BY” date of July 20, 2018.

A supplier told Conagra Brands, Inc that an ingredient used in the brownie mix may be contaminated with salmonella, the government said.

There are no reports of anyone getting sick from the food.
