Ammunition fired off as building burned in Lyon County

STAGECOACH, Nev. (KOLO)-- A fire in an outbuilding Saturday in Stagecoach burned ammunition that went off and put holes in the metal walls, the Central Lyon County Fire Protection District reported.

Firefighters described the building as being full of ammunition.

The fire in the Iroquois Drive area was reported about 10:30 a.m.
Details on what caused the fire were not immediately available.

The North Lyon County Fire Protection District and Storey County Fire Department filled in for the fire engines battling the fire.
