RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Washoe County says one in four children experiences hunger in our region, so the Building & Safety Divisions at Washoe County, City of Reno and City of Sparks are working together to build a hunger-fighting community with the Summer Food Drive 2018.
The community is encouraged to drop off non-perishable food donation items to Food Bank of Northern Nevada bins at multiple locations at the three municipalities before August 1, 2018.

---Fruits: Canned (Packed in 100% Juice or Light Syrup), Dried Fruit, Applesauce (No Sugar Added), 100% Fruit Juice Boxes
---Vegetables: Canned (No Salt Added and/or Low-Sodium Preferred)
---Dairy: Shelf Stable Milk
