Kiwanis hold pediatric trauma prevention fundraiser Friday

SPARKS, Nev. (KOLO) - Kiwanis Club of Downtown Sparks with Nevada Vines and Wines (with Great Basin Brewery, 39 North and Port of Subs) are holding Pairings for an PTP (Pediatric Trauma Prevention) Fundraiser for Child Safety.

Appetizers from TMCC and Job Corps culinary programs, and from community supporters, will be paired with beverages from Nevada’s best wineries, distilleries, and brew houses. Join the community for a fun night of tasting, a silent auction with a great variety of items, and entertainment.

When: Friday, March 23, 2018 from 5-9 p.m.
Where: Taps and Tanks at 1155 South Rock Blvd., Reno, NV
Why: Pairings for PTP is being held to support Pediatric Trauma Prevention in our community.

Kiwanis Club of Downtown Sparks provides child safety and health programs to more than 2,500 youth in the community. Programs include teaching bicycling (riding, repair and helmet safety) through camps, clubs and clinics, and providing dolls for local hospitals. Pairings for PTP will fund enhancements of these programs through improved programming at their bike shop and at community events.
