Historic Virginia City, Nevada, (November 16, 2011). The Virginia & Truckee Railroad will host a two-week, enchanted Christmas Train aboard vintage rail coaches, December 3 & 4, and December 10 & 11.

Come savor hot chocolate & enjoy festive candy canes while listening to the “Night before Christmas” read by Mrs. Claus and her special girl friends from the North Pole- the ‘Candy Cane Sisters’. On board, one of Santa’s beloved elves will be recording children’s requests for holiday deliveries.

This experience is appropriate for all ages, young and old, and a joyful addition to your holiday season. Wear warm clothes and don’t forget to bring your camera for those precious holiday photos recorded in a high desert winter wonderland.

Departures are from the F Street Station, Virginia City, 12 noon and 2 PM each Saturday and Sunday. Please arrive ten (10) minutes before scheduled train departure time.

Cost: $12.00 Adults (13 years +), $6.00 (2-12 years), under 2 years old ride free.
