SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CA - A St. Baldrick's event to raise money for childhood cancer research is set for Friday night in South Lake Tahoe.
It's 6pm at the South Lake Tahoe Ice Arena.
St. Baldrick's is the world's largest volunteer-driven fundraising program for childhood cancer research, second only to the US government.
The goal is to reach $50,000 and shave 125 brave people's heads at this first-time event, which will honor two children battling state 4 neuroblastoma. Bailey Johnson, who will turn 13 Sunday, is a four-time survivor. Caitlyn Drennan is an 18-month-old still in the fight.
