SPCA Seeks Your Help for a Little Dog in Need

RENO, Nev. – The SPCA of Northern Nevada recently rescued an animal with severe medical problems and needs the support of our community to save her little leg.

Chloe—a 5 month old long haired toy Chihuahua came to us with a broken front leg. As we counsel during dog adoptions, many times small dogs like Chloe don’t fare well in households with small children. Unfortunately, Chloe’s leg was accidentally broken by a toddler and the family could not afford to fix it. We are trying to save her leg and avoid amputation.

The SPCA of Northern Nevada does not have the funds to pay for Chloe’s veterinary costs anticipated at $1,500 and we are making a plea to our community to donate what you can to help support Chloe’s care and healing during the next four to six weeks before she is ready for adoption. We grately appreciate it.
