The SPCA of Northern Nevada (SPCA) is holding their annual Love Life Gala Saturday, October 5th at the Atlantis Hotel Casino & Spa.
The event is inspired by Frank Sinatra and will feature Jimmy Brewster from Los Angeles as Frank Sinatra. Kenn Pettiford will play the piano live during the event. The evening begins with a VIP reception at 5 p.m.
and dinner and entertainment begins at 6 p.m. The VIP reception includes a meet and greet with Jimmy Brewster and complimentary food and beverage. There will be a raffle and silent auction.
We are pleased to announce that Amanda Sanchez from KOLO News Now will be our emcee this year. "My first volunteer job was at the SPCA.
With this organization even more adoptable dogs and cats will find their forever loving homes in northern Nevada. I am grateful that the SPCA has asked me to be a part of this crucial fundraising event," said Amanda Sanchez.
Jimmy Brewster recreates the Sinatra phenomenon through an exciting stage show which captures the classic romance of Ol’ Blue Eyes in his prime. Brewster entices the audience to “Come Fly With Me” and remember why only the king of ring-a-ding-ding could do it so well “My Way.”
“Our Love Life Gala is an exciting event for us and allows us to socialize with the people who make our work possible. The generosity of our donors and all of our supporters has been amazing. All the proceeds stay right here in northern Nevada and benefit the homeless animals in our community,” said Tom Jacobs, Executive Director of the SPCA.
Ticket prices start at $65 for the dinner and entertainment portion of the evening and $100 includes the VIP reception.
Tickets can be purchased at www.spcagala2013.eventbrite.com or by phone at 775-324-7773 x204. Tickets can also be purchased at the door on Saturday, October 5. For more information about the SPCA of Northern Nevada, please visit spcanevada.org.
The SPCA, founded in 1998, is Reno's original no-kill animal shelter. Our mission is to be an innovative regional leader in responsible treatment of homeless cats and dogs, primarily through their rescue and placement in forever loving homes and by promoting spaying and neutering to control pet overpopulation. We accomplish our mission with dedication to our core values and a lifetime commitment to our animals.
