The event is happening Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 6-8pm at Se7en Tea House at West Street Market. There will be a $5 suggested donation at the door, appetizers, an art raffle, a silent auction and an available cash bar.

Proceeds from this event will be donated to ReStart. ReStart is a program of Volunteers of America and is a national, non-profit human service agency. They offer a variety of programming designed to accommodate the needs of at-risk populations in our community, including the homeless, the mentally ill and low-income seniors. Programming includes emergency shelter programs, mental health support and homeless prevention programs. They have indicated that all proceeds from this event will benefit ReStart's mental health support center and stay right here in our community.

Phi Alpha is the honor society in the School of Social Work at the University of Nevada, Reno and is student run. The purpose of Phi Alpha Honor Society is to provide a closer bond among students of social work and promote humanitarian goals and ideals. Phi Alpha fosters high standards of education for social workers and invites into membership those who attained excellence in scholarship and achievement in social work.
