Ninth Annual Tip-A-Cop Tonight at Claim Jumper
RENO, NV - Troopers from the Nevada Highway Patrol will be waiting tables and serving hungry customers Thursday night at the ninth annual Claim Jumper Tip-A-Cop Fundraiser.
Each volunteer from the Department of Public Safety will be paired up with a restaurant employee from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Each table will be greeted by a two person team and presented with an envelope asking for a donation.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will go to the Special Olympics
Programs in Nevada, allowing athletes to train and attend sporting events throughout the year. Last year, this event raised $2,465.
Claim Jumper is at 4905 South Virginia Street.
