Pearl is a sweet, orphaned Boxer who has survived a rough time on the streets, was cared for by Nevada Humane Society staff, and is now looking for a new, loving home in which to spend her senior years.

“Pearl came into our shelter as a stray with several serious health conditions, ranging from obesity to skin problems to a heart murmur,” explained Denise Stevens, Operations Director for Nevada Humane Society.

“She was treated by our wonderful veterinary team and is now ready for a new, great home.” Pearl is a very sweet, middle-aged gal that needs a special someone to give her the love and care that she deserves.

Her medical conditions are all under control now and she only needs to be provided some inexpensive daily thyroid medication to keep her weight under control.

“Animals like Pearl hold a special place in the hearts of our staff,” said Bonney Brown, Executive Director for Nevada Humane Society.

“We know that there is the perfect person in the community that will also find a special place in their heart for Pearl.”

If you would like to adopt Pearl or make a donation to help pay for her care, please contact Nevada Humane Society at 775-856-2000.
