SPARKS, Nevada (November 29, 2011) – “Coats for the Cold” is a local coat drive put on by the Reno Sparks Business Corridor Association, in conjunction with the Washoe County Sherriff’s Office, aimed at providing coats to those in this community that are in need, and this year, perhaps more than ever, there are many who are in need of a good warm coat to stay out of the cold.
“This winter season we want to see that everyone in our community stays warm,” says Kyle Bihler, Web Administrator at EternalSnow.com. “A great way to ensure this is to donate your old coats that are just hanging in your closets. If you can spare an extra jacket this winter this is a great cause to help with, because all of the coats will be distributed locally.”
Eternal Board Shop has teamed up with the Reno Sparks Business Corridor Association as well as the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office to collect gently used coats that will be handed out during the Reno Sparks Business Corridor Association’s annual “Christmas on the Corridor” event.
Donor’s can drop off coat donations at either Eternal Board Shop location, the Reno store at 235 E. Plumb Ln. located at Shoppers Square or at their Sparks location, 33 E. Freeport Blvd.
As an added bonus to the coat donor, when you donate your gently used coat at an Eternal location, Eternal will extend a 10% discount on any new 2012 jacket or pant. So if you are looking to upgrade your coat what better way than to give your old coat to someone in need and even get a little help with buying that new one.
Eternal will be accepting coat donations until December 16th, as December 17th is when the Washoe County Sheriff will hand out the coats at “Christmas on the Corridor.” If there is a good response, Eternal hopes to continue to collect jackets as long as it is cold. Eternal hopes to become part of this annual event that the community can depend on.
