On Saturday, June 4 while more than 250 Special Olympics Nevada athletes are competing live at the State Summer Games Championships at UNR, you could be one of the lucky few to experience OVER THE EDGE Reno.
Imagine rappelling 27 stories down the side of the Grand Sierra Resort to a cheering crowd and an after-party at the pool.
Did I mention you don't need a lick of experience either?
The first 100 EDGERS to raise, or guarantee, their fundraising goal will earn the right to rappel at the event. Over the Edge hosts more than 40 such events this year to support local Special Olympics programs and they are professional rope technicians. You will be harnessed, oriented and even participate in a one-story practice rappel before you take the big one.
Can you picture it?
Challenge someone or rally your co-workers and collect pledges to TOSS YOUR BOSS.
Over the Edge is an amazing experience.
It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
It's an incredible way to help Special Olympics Nevada raise awareness and funds to make sure that events like the State Summer Games can continue and keep pace with our ever-growing program.
