Assistance League of Reno-Sparks, through its Links to Learning philanthropic program, has presented $50,000 to Sparks High School to continue its technology upgrade.
This upgraded technology request meets Links to Learning’s three goals: a proposal which is academic, will reach as many students as possible, and has a measurable effect. Assistance League selected Sparks High School as the recipient of this award because the school qualifies as being eligible for federal funding but does not receive federal funding.
Last year, Assistance League of Reno-Sparks presented Sparks High School with $50,000 to launch their technology upgrade. The members of Assistance League are very excited and proud to be able to continue their support of the students of Sparks High School.
The Assistance League of Reno-Sparks' Links to Learning program has given a separate $150,000 in monetary awards to elementary teachers to fund classroom projects.!
