As you are aware, there is a rapid growth of needy individuals and families in our communities that go without proper food, shelter, and essential medical care every day. Due to a variety of factors including low wages, job loss, injuries, illness, age, domestic violence, or divorce along with the current economic hardships, the need for assistance is greater than ever before.

You can help make a difference in the lives of those
who are facing adversity right here in our own communities.
Faces of Grace Outreach Ministries is inviting Community Assistance Programs, Churches, Businesses, and All who have a desire to help those who are struggling in our communities; To come and join us for the “5th Annual Homeless Awareness & Prevention Day”

Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Paradise Park 9am-4pm.
This event reaches out to the Homeless and the Poor in our communities to raise awareness and prevention, by bringing together Community Assistance Programs, Businesses, Churches, and the Community at Large in an effort to educate those who are homeless or on the verge of becoming homeless, about the resources that are available to them. This fun filled day also includes free breakfast & BBQ lunch, free clothing & grocery giveaways, free raffles, free haircuts, children’s fun zone, music, inspirational speakers, & more!!!

Together, we will be able to help many of these individuals and families not only to meet essential daily needs, but to work toward a brighter future with programs in job training, education, counseling, elderly assistance, and temporary housing. Our volunteers say they feel rewarded many times over for the help they provide in making a difference in the lives of others.

This event has doubled in size every year. The 1st year the attendance was approximately 800 people, the 2nd year was approximately 1500 people, the 3rd year was approximately 3000, the 4th year was approximately 7,000 people!

If your organization would like to set up an information booth at this year’s event or if you would like to volunteer or donate please contact us at www.facesofgracereno.org.
