"Be A Santa to A Senior" campaign still has about 200 seniors who need holiday donations this year.

Home Instead Senior Care placed ten trees full of ornaments with senior's names on them inside Walmart Vision Centers in Reno, Sparks and Carson City.

1,600 seniors are in need this holiday season. Some of them need simple items like toilet paper and deodorant, but Home Instead Senior Care has put a "Walmart gift card" on those ornaments.

The seniors on the trees may not have any family, or may not be financially stable to enjoy the holiday season. Sandi TenBoer with Home Instead Senior Care is confident through cash donations, and ornaments getting picked on the tree, that a senior will not go without this holiday season.

You can make a donation or pick an ornament off a tree through December 16th.
