Following the death of his father, George, Merrill Osmond made time between interviews with Oprah and Larry King, to stop by KOLO 8.

Merrill says his father's death has been hard on the family, especially his sister Marie, who is starring in this season's "Dancing with the Stars." Because the Osmonds were such a close performing group, Merrill says Marie's performances this week will be especially sentimental, and especially difficult.

Likewise, Merrill says his show in Reno will be a reminder of everything his family accomplished together. Merrill is playing Santa, in the El Dorado's newest show, "The Spirit of Christmas." The show will spread some holiday cheer during a 7-week run from November 13-December 28.
