FRESNO, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say a small plane has crashed
in Mariposa County, but no one has been injured.
The Federal Aviation Administration says a homebuilt,
experimental plane made an emergency landing Tuesday afternoon in a cow pasture. The plane had caught fire and had smoke in the
cockpit.
KFSN Fresno reports that the airplane was destroyed in the fire, but neither of the two people onboard were injured. The crash sparked a small brush fire.
According to FAA records, the plane is registered to Haycraft
Oliver of Glendale, California.
