LOS ANGELES (AP) - Authorities say 11 people were injured when the church van they were in was struck by an allegedly drunk driver in Los Angeles.

Police Officer Norma Eisenman said a black BMW collided with the
white Ford van near Koreatown early Saturday.

The 11 passengers in the van complained of minor injuries, but none were life-threatening, she said.

The driver of the BMW was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, a felony. The suspect's name was not released.

Eisenman could not confirm TV news reports that the van was from New Life Vision Church in Arlington Heights.
