RIVERSIDE, Calif. (AP) - The FBI says an Arizona man has been indicted on charges that he traveled to California to have sex with a teen boy.
Spokeswoman Laura Eimiller says 42-year-old Michael Killala of Peoria, Arizona has been charged by a Riverside County federal grand jury with traveling interstate to have sex with a minor.
Killala is accused of traveling to California twice, in December and January, to engage in sex with the victim.
Killala allegedly gave the boy vodka before having sex with him in the second incident.
The victim's mother contacted authorities to report Killala's contact with her son.
The FBI says Killala had been in contact with the boy for several months after they met over an Internet chat program and admitted he knew the boy was a minor.
