SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (AP) - Police have released a 16-year-old boy who was arrested earlier this week for his alleged role in a shooting that killed a man wounded two others in San Bernardino.
Police Sgt. Dave Dillon says the boy was released Friday while prosecutors review evidence that he and another suspect were tied
to a previous shooting involving one of the victims. The boy's name has not been released because he is a minor.
The second suspect, an adult, has not been arrested and his name also has not been released.
Authorities say gang fighting prompted the killing of 19-year-old Donzell Tate Jr. and the wounding of two others on a street corner near a fire station Tuesday night.
