SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Two suspects are in custody after a police chase that started in San Francisco's Bayview neighborhood, continued on a freeway, then came to an end in a storage container business.
A police spokesman says officers responding to a shooting around 6 p.m. Wednesday saw a vehicle speed away from the area and drive onto Interstate 280.
Officer Carlos Manfredi says with traffic jammed on the freeway, the driver crashed when he tried to exit the freeway.
The two suspects ran from the car and tried to escape police in the storage container yard.
Manfredi says one of the suspects was arrested when he became stuck in barbwire, while the second was taken into custody on top of storage container unit.
Police have not released any details of the two men, or of the shooting incident that led to the chase.
