(KOLOTV.com) -- Wells Fargo says it has finished converting Nevada-based Citibank accounts to Wells Fargo accounts.
In a news release on Monday, Wells Fargo said "customers in Reno, Sparks, Carson City, Elko, Winnemucca, and Yerington, Nev., may now transact their financial services business from Wells Fargo’s 43 locations in northern Nevada and more than 3,200 nationwide."
Several Citibank branches in those cities closed on Friday. A branch in Fallon closed last month, but didn't convert to Wells Fargo.
"The acquisition encompasses account relationships of Citibank’s customer households in six northern Nevada and two California Sierra Foothills communities (Auburn and Grass Valley, Calif.)", said the release.
