            In early April I purchased my very first home.  Everyone was telling me it’s the right thing to do… that come tax season I will truly understand why home ownership is the way to go.  However, right now, while I’m in the middle of home project after home project I’m just SORE. 

            This weekend I went through two home projects.  One of which I’m still feeling today.  I got this hair-brained idea to refinish my kitchen table.  It’s an old oak table with a leaf in the middle.  Fully expanded, the table can seat eight.  Why in the world did I think I could refinish it in one day?  After three trips to the Home Depot near my home, and a sore back, sore legs and sore fingers – does anyone out there have some recommendations on how to refinish a darn table?
