I wore a white shirt to the Nevada game on Saturday.  I actually had to buy one considering every piece of Wolf Pack gear I own is either Silver or Blue, you know.....our actual school colors.

I understand the point of the "whiteout" - let's get all the home fans sporting the same color.  Admirable notion, but a big mistake in practice.

"We" wore white to support our team, who wore Blue.  In fact, we looked more like Lobos' backers, since New Mexico also wore white.  Am I the only one who sees a flaw in this?  Fans should be encouraged to wear the same color as the team they're rooting for.  How about a "blueout" or a "silverout?"  Anything but what went down on Saturday.

Boise State has their fans wear blue and orange to home games, since their school colors are....blue and orange.  What a concept!

I applaud the idea of getting everyone together for one color, one team, one Wolf Pack.  But blue is just as good an option as white is, and in this case, really the only option.  After all, aren't Nevada fans the "blue crew?"  I still don't get it.

i think if Nevada dose a whit out they should have a special cause. because when Colorado had a white out they donated those proceeds to a cancer research foundation. and also allot of people can't afford to buy new clothing every time Nevada has a color theme. when Nevada played Texas tech a few years ago in Reno they gave out white shirts.
